anyone changed ambient lighting color?

I'm tired of the dull orange and want to change the ambient lighting color to blue but can't find a single post about a diy or anything.

Check out this link. There's a couple folks here who have done different levels of this. Pretty involved if you want to swap out absolutely every single LED light.

I think if you follow some of the links in there you'll find what you are looking for. The only amber lights in my car are related to LED's. If you're talking about other lights like the dome light, floor lights, etc... those are more traditional bulbs that you can get LED replacements for in almost whatever color you want.

Are you talking the dome, floor, and trunk lights? Or do you have some kind of party mode I'm missing out on..

On our 2011 Clubman the ambient light change every few seconds. The owners manual tells you how to set it. Wie has the car in SF with her sister or I would look it up and tell you how to do it.

I think since you have the face lift model you have way more lights than me apparently. Regardless, I order some off of Amazon from the seller "cutequeen". They're cheap which is ideal and are all the same color so I'm happy with them.

I just can't find any diy write up. Its all dome lights and map lights. With my headlights on i get orange mood lights in the door handles, under dash and in front of map lights

I just tried to google image it and it seems you do indeed have more lights than me. Those door lights are neat but I'm not sure how they come out since I don't have them. As for the floor lights I'm pretty sure you can pop them off with your fingers, if not a flat head will work fine and the light just pulls out. The "in front of map lights" I would need to see a picture of to be certain but if it is what I think it is then just use a small flat head and pop the plastic cover off to get access to the bulbs.

Apologies if this doesn't help.
