Last night I did a very quick test fit on one front wheel to check and make sure these 15x7 +35 wouldn't touch the brakes. There was plenty of room around the brakes (stock brakes). I am simply writing this post because I searched and searched and there was nobody who had reported on the Dial In or Dial-In wheels. I love them on my lemons race car with Zii Star Specs, and recently picked up this R53, so of course I wondered if they'd fit on the mini.
I didn't have the hubcentric rings I need, so I didn't drive the car, but I was comforted that I already have this set as an option if I ever want to run them!
Nice, i am looking at thr 6UL 15 X 7.5 42 offset for my next purchase after my overheating issue.
Wondering if anyone or had this rims in their mini without any issue. All stock just the newly installed FSD, new timing chain tensioner, crank pulley and thermostat housing.
I'm actually looking at these for my r56 as well. I wonder if the +35 offset will poke a little on stock suspension. Please share some pictures once you mount all 4!
The 6UL's are my other choice too. But I'm look at the 15x7 though. They looked great when I ran them on my miata.

Love that they're both under 11lbs.
I run 15x7" +35mm Konig Dial In's for autocross on my R53, they fit great (with no poke), look good and are super light. Here is a picture of them on my MINI from Goodwin-racing http://www.mazdatalkforum.com/download/file.php?id=2313
We have put them on my brother-in-law's R55 to check fitment, with the wheel weights they would not clear the brake calipers. If you were very strategic with where the weights were placed you may get away with it on an R55/R56.

Was your brother-in-laws car a Cooper or Cooper S? Interested in getting a set for an R53 JCW but need to be check brake clearance.
I can confirm these clear the JCW R53 front brakes and lower suspension. Will just require careful placement of the weights
FINALLY! An answer! I searched and searched to see if these wheels would fit over the R53 JCW front calipers and couldn't find an answer anywhere. I ended up going with 949Racing 15x8 6UL wheels instead. I'm running them with 225/45R15 BFG Rivals for autocross.
I run 225/45R15 tires for autocross on 949Racing 15x8 6UL wheels that have +38 offset (setup is my signature photo). Had to use a thin spacer in the rear - 3mm would have worked but I went with 5mm just to be sure - to clear the rear trailing arm. I ended up placing a 5mm spacer in the front to have a square setup. Have zero rub issues anywhere even when pushing hard and pulling Gs on very rough pavement. I also have Swift Spec-R springs which gives the car a slightly lower stance than stock.
