Looking to pick up a set of wheels from another member that are 18x8 with a +35 offset. Would this big of a rim fit on an R53? Any information would be great!
Yes - I ran this set-up for a couple of years both on stock and lowered suspension.. If you fit a 215 tyre, you'll have a bit more clearance due to stretch but expect some rubbage.
First 2 are on springs, 3rd is on coilovers. The reason the front wheel looks a tad odd in the 3rd is beacause I had to run 16mm spacers up front to clear my brakes which wasn't a great look.
Not too bad on the springs - worst is when you hit a dip at speed. Never found out on the coils as I just put them on to photograph as they were up for sale.
