Type of Loaner Car?
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to know what loaner car you got when had your mini in for service. I had to get my transmission fix. something with the bearing and my window didn't work. I have an 04 mini s it's only 6 months old too. I got a 04 mini cooper s British green with only 500 miles. It had the number two package. .....Great loaner car.......

He calls later in the day saying they'd have to keep my MINI overnight because they got behind, so I had it for a while. I put some miles on that sucker!
It was a lotta fun, but I was very glad to get my MINI back.

I got a loaner...
At my second maintenance my dealer provided a loaner through Enterprise. They gave me a brand new Cadillac Deville...full leather, the works. "A luxury car for a luxury car," the enterprise guy said. I just stood there and looked the behemoth, unsure if I was happy or disappointed. "Oh well, it's free...!"

I got a Cooper CVT as a loaner when my rack was being put on. Long story but I had that car for two weeks and got quite a bit of enjoyment slamming up and down with the "stick". It was nice to have something a little different but the Z4 would have been much more fun. Temporarily of course...

 Nick Alexander MINI in L.A. offered me a free Nissan Sentra, or gave me the option of paying $5 for an upgrade to either a Montana minivan or a Chevy Trailblazer. I chose the Trailblazer!
There's an Enterprise employee right on the premises of the dealership to accomodate customers needing loaners. I sure was glad to get my Wanda back, though. As I sat at a very long traffic signal, I watched the fuel needle go down...what a gas-guzzler...and what a gushy suspension! Truly like a boat rocking back and forth!

My dealer, Lauderdale MINI, currently has a fleet of 3 or 4 brand new Cooper CVTs for loaners. Last time they gave me a LOADED (Nav, the whole 9 yards) '04 Cooper CVT with only 50 miles on the clock. Very sweet ride.
One time last year, they gave me a brand new BMW 325i sedan automatic loaner.
Great service, no complaints here.

325i... didnt enjoy a second of it... being in my MINI, I enjoy seeing maybe 2 other cars like mine each day, and even then they are so different from mine. While I had the 325i for all of 8 hours, I must have seen at least 2 dozen other 325i's, and about 5 of them were the same color.
It also felt super sluggish and I just felt like a total douchebag in the thing.... not my style of car at all!
