R50/53 CamelSquadron - Pilots Wanted
CamelSquadron - Pilots Wanted
Greetings fellow Mini owners.
My squadron is currently accepting applications from aspiring Mini pilots who are interested in joining this small, but crack group of aces. (No pilots license required, just a drivers license)
Requirements for consideration:
1. You must reside in Los Angeles. (For now - will expand in the near future)
2. You must own a NEW (2002-2005) MINI Cooper S. (No Coopers just yet... we need to establish officers first.
)
3. Your Mini Cooper S has to be British Racing Green. (If it's got stripes, then you will be given your own flight with 2 wingmen assigned to you - positions and pilots permitting)
If you are interested, please reply to this thread, and I will forward you an application form.
Some info regarding the squadron:
At the moment it's small (only just been formed). We are a unit comprised of British Racing Green Cooper S's, and sorties include track days, restaurant nights, reconnaisance flights, picnics, offensive patrols, fun events, etc. Pilots can belong to other clubs e.g. MOALA, SCMM, TMM etc.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Biggles of the Camel Squadron.
p.s. /wave hello everybody.
disclaimer: we love all other MINI colours (and MINIS) equally, and if you feel prejudiced in any way because of the nature of our requirements, then...lol.. we are sorry. the club is based around a very fun theme, if you disagree with our club, please PM me and I will be happy to discuss it with you further.

Wait a minute! The thread is back?????
Where are the other comments?
Well, even though they're gone, I'll comment again. I think this is a cool idea. It's just too bad I have a cooper (no I'm not going to trade it in!) and it's the faster color to boot! IB/W.
I do look forward to seeing some picks of the camel squadron!

Sorry, have already accepted invitation to join the Flying Circus, where ace drivers of MINIs of many colors recognized as the best "pilotes" congregate. More colors = more aces = more victories. Officers are chosen by ability, not class, so the best drivers lead by example, as it should be. We would rather have a top ace of any color, than a "green" lad in any old crate. ;-)
We'll drop a wreath over your field when we've finished your schooling. HeHe!
(Sound of riding crop slapping side of high boot.)
"So stand by your glasses steady, boys,
This world is world full of lies.
Here's a toast to the dead already.
Hurrah! For the next man who dies!"

Oops, dropped my monocle. ;-)
