Over on minineo.org there is a thread that said we had about 135 by the time we left for the drive and about 35 more showed up after we left.
If anyone has some space to host these bad boys, I'll get it set up.
You can also upload pictures directly into your post using the "Manage Attachments" feature. To access that, when you post, look below the text box in the "Additional Options" area. It will allow you to browse your hard drive to find the pictures and upload them to the NAM server.
Ok, Julie's got them on snapfish now. Ok, what you do is right click on a picture. DON'T HIT COPY, rather copy the web address (by right clicking, and going to properties). THEN, when you get to your post, type in
Then you can move onto your next pic within the same post. I'm not sure what the limit per post is. But I would start a new thread when you post the pics - you could practice one here if you wanted...
Here's my test:

There are so many MINI pics, I just thought I'd throw in a pic of where I'm going in November!

SoCal Dealers Could Learn Something from Julie and Classic
I just have to vent guys.
SoCal dealers have the LARGEST
mark-ups and the least amount of customer gratitude. Rarely do they host events the scale of what Classic has done or even what Scottsdale did recently. Is this just bugging me or are there others that think SoCal dealers have a lot to learn about customer appreciation?

You know, I have NEVER received the kind of customer service I got from Classic from ANYWHERE, no matter what I was buying. Julie, my MA, actually became my friend, holding my hand through the entire time I was obsessing over the arrival of my car.
And I am not trying to pour salt into a wound, but rather giving the kudos to Classic, because this event was AWESOME. It was free, they gave us T-shirts, they had donuts and coffee in the a.m., then the 50 mile rally through an INCREDIBLE serious of curvey roads and through Amish country, then when we got back to the airport hanger, there was a BBQ spread out of this world. BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, huge burgers, potato salad (2 kinds), mac salad, and any soft drink or juice you can imagine, and desert - cheesecake and pie and cake...
I was impressed beyond belief. And oh yeah, the owner of Classic even hired a helicopter to film the run from the air, and we have police escorts for about the first 10 miles or so, blocking ALL traffic. It was UNREAL...... Julie, thanks again!!

I think I'll try uploading my pics to imageshack.us when I get home. It's temporary until I get my imageevent account, but I can't wait for my next paycheck to share these pics. I hate switching jobs, always throws the pay out of flux. At least I like my new job.
Ok...I posted my pics of the event in this thread:

It's in the Midwest forum off the main page. There's 59 pics, enjoy.

Thanks for sharing the great pix from the Classic MINI Event. I will certainly very seriously consider buying my next MINI from Classic! What a dealership! It does my heart good to see how Classic treats the MINI community. Props!

Wow, wish I could've been there, looks like great fun. This is why I ordered my MCS from classic. Julie has been great and put up w/ my incessant calling and emails lol. I really wish socal dealers would be better but what can you do...unless majority of the people stops buying from them and protest w/ their wallets, crappy service will always be synonymous with socal MINI dealers. Still waiting for my car though
I too was at the event (C MY MC is my plate) and it was the best day! I felt like a kid in a toy store looking at a wall of Matchbox cars saying to myself "I want them all!" I took delivery of "Newt" in April and had only one encounter with another MINI (Velvet red) at the Target in Willoughby and that MINI was from Oregon!!
It was just soooooo cool to be around so many MINIs. I used to work at Classic BMW about 15 years ago and trust me, Jim Brown (and his family) is the nicest man, even with his success and wealth. He is a car lover and it shows!
A shout out to David Ritz at Classic MINI. He was my salesman and he too has become a friend. His enthusiam for MINI is great and I know if I have any problem, he will take care of it.
Viva La Classic MINI!! The best MINI dealership in the U.S., period!!
Motor On and on and on and on and on!

Awesome pics, Spav!!!
Hey, Spav, you got a pic of Dobby and I in there (granted, it's my back side) - white shirt, khaki shorts and red ball hat with my hair in a braid. It's your 8th picture, and in the 4th visible row, Dobby is in the back with the temp sticker in the window!!
All I can say is that I can't wait until next year!!! I bet there will be even MORE MINIs!!! Let's go for at least 200!
