missleading adds!

you know its really funny how many companies when comparing their car against the mini use missleading or just flat out lie about their product i see it so much and wonder how they get away with it,

just a second ago i was just comparing the srt-4 and the cooper s
on dodge's web page and it showes having the srt being better cause its heavier (showing a ram pic for advantages) duh how is that better! mabe im missing something, then they dont list many of minis options quoting not available when it is like the pull strap for the emergency boot realease, and others, maby they got rid of it but i know i have one! and all these other little querks to make their car look better, oh well im just ranting on, but their are alot of other mags out their that are very bias and fuge the truth about witch is better and it just gets to me!!

oh well back to work!

Duh! Of course it is better that the Dodge is heavier. You get more weight for your money!

The Dodge does have a 0-60 of 5.9 seconds as well as some nifty stuff like a Quaife LSD!

For our benefit, such cars do raise the bar a bit for what a $20k car can be, and hopefully cars like this will encourage MINI to give us better, more powerful cars in the future. . .

There's no need to explain to anyone here that sometimes we don't measure up to "private school" standards. Sure our typing and spelling might not be as good as some but truth be told there will always be someone better at it than you. Point being if you can get your point across then whats there point? None, if someone want's to play grammar police knock youself out I rather read the threads about MINI's and enjoy them for what they are and not how they were written. Thank You Very Much. Sbeck.

I went to both private and public schools... so I must be a hybrid.

Maybe insult is the best form of flattery. Trying to prove a gawd awful weighty road warrier is better than a MINI is, imo, a backdoor admission of inferiority. Me biased? Of course.

4GAZM gave us a very funny and genuine response to what was truly an English Teacher's nightmare. We are not perfect. We all make mistakes.

You sir, however, are not funny or enlightening. "Thank You Very Much"!

regards,
Red

I'm still wondering what the deal is w/ the "European inspired suspension" the new Focus ads keep harping about. What the heck does that mean? Made by Europeans? Designed by Europeans? Idea copied from Europeans? Very vague and misleading I think.

The "european inspired" suspension comes from a moment of enlightenment that occured while a Ford engineer was eating a Croissanwich from Burger King!
