Rubber Parts to Replace with Shock

Hey I was just wondering I'm going to swap out my struts for Koni FSD's and was wondering what should also be replaced with the struts such as the bumps and rubbers seals and such. I am looking at the bavarian autosports mounting kits at http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp and i found bump stops made for FSD's at http://www.fatcatmotorsports.com/FCM_Products_Mini.htm let me know what you think.

It can't hurt to replace bump stops. The one suspension wear part that always needs replacement is the control arm bushings, which should be replaced with poly bushings. Unfortunately, there really isn't much labor efficiency with doing the struts.

The bump stops are probably the bits most likely to benefit from replacing.
Look for torn spring seat pads and strut/shock boots/protectors, and replace if needed.
You can probably look and see what shape they're in while they're still on the car.
The rear upper shock mount rubber peices can be replaced separately if they're hard
or cracked (much cheaper than replacing the whole rear upper shock mounts).

I would just reuse the stock bump stops with the FSDs as they are intended to be used with stock parts to prevent damaging the FSDs.
Check your front strut mounts if they are cracked or broken it's a good time to upgrade to the fixed camber plates.

They are a thicker plate so they will be stronger to prevent mushrooming.

As for the rear you can also reuse all the stock parts, but if you want to replace the upper shock bushings you can use the powerflex kit.

I've heard the poly rear upper shock bushings don't flex well enough for the design,
and that some have had some problems with them. This was with the Madness ones,
it might not apply to the Powerflex ones.

I got these, which are oem material and fairly inexpensive:

I was talking about the front bump stop kit they make that I just found. I just want to make sure my shaft covers and stops are all optimal also.

We carry the powerflex Bump Stop kit and they are a quality part but with the FSDs the stock bump stops will work fine.
