Any thing else?

http://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-pulley-package.html
Ordering the 16% kit in the morning along with the tensioner stop they offer.. I bought my 05 with 65k miles and the dealership said they just had changed the belt and tensioner.. Anything else I should order since we will have it opened up? .. I may go the safe route and order a new tensioner.. Where's the best place to get the tensioner at... Thanks

The Gates 38404 Tensioner is $97.66 on amazon right now.

Check out a web site called camelcamelcamel.com if you haven't found that already - it tracks day to day price variations on amazon (look for the ASIN number in the listing - that is the Amazon ID number) and it will show you a price graph and you can set it up to email you when it hits a certain price floor. Looks like the average price during 2014 was around $80. And around $75 during 2013.

I am confused. I assume the dealer just installed a new tensioner/belt, then why wouldn't that be "safe" to continue using.

...yeah...i am confued...why change a NEW DEALER PROVIDED TENSIONER WITH A 2 YEAR WARRENTY??? The "new" tensioner should be 100% safe...
Just add the new SHORTER BELT....

They said they changed it but I know how some dealerships can be, I got the part but may make a judgement call on replacing it or not

If a dealership is charging $$$ (about $300) for a part and not installing it...you could make some big $$$$ in court..
Since it is a cast part, age is pretty easy to determine....

When I bought the car I asked if the belt & tensioner had been replaced and they said it had been done at 60k.. I'll take pics of when we get it taken apart
