Magnaflow Catalytic 59959

I have decided on replacing the cat i have now due to exhaust leak. instead of welding it i rather start fresh and i was thinking if this magnaflow cat 59959 is being used by any mini owners.
Its a spun metallic cat that has 200 cell count. this is different than the honey comb design and suppose to flow better. I would like to know if anyone is using this without any engine lights present. thanks

thanks for the respond it helps. do you have the exact one? also if you are staying catless how did you pass the check engine light code. are you using an extension on the second o2? or other method?

its the 2.5 in version, but basically the same. Im not sure if ill have it coded out, since im going to be tuned very shortly, if not ill just add a spacer. im really only keeping it if i need to weld it in to my 4-2-1 header if it does sound good

If i run this cat plus a spacer i should be 100% no light right? i wonder if anyone else is running no cat plus spacer and no CEL.

i have something similar, a 200 cel count honeycomb, and YES, i have the P0420 code. i bought a spacer, but its too big; the o2 sensor hits the side wall, i cant use it.

going to either try a 90 degree one, or just plug up the 2nd hole, leave the o2 sensor hooked up to the ECU, just not plugged in anywhere.

I installed the cat to my obx header and milltek exhaust. im using a 3 inch section after the header and got rid of the resonator using 3 inch pipe. check it out.

Its only been like 40 miles driven. i reset adaptations and so far no codes. keeping my fingers crossed for the next few days. stupid 2096 code

kinda wanna say shame on you guys for going catless. yes, its minus 1-2 hp, but your not really helping the carbon situation in the world.

also, your catless cars have Stinky exhaust! :P pew! i catted my exhaust just to NOT have that stink from the exhaust (like my buddies crx, smells awful).

no shame on me i have a catalytic con. mine is just 3 inch and high flow metallic cat. with the milltek exhaust and no resonator its not loud at all only when you step on it. cruising speed you would never know i even have an aftermarket exhaust on the cooper.
