Gen1 brake sensors

Quick question: Are the brake pad sensors the same front and rear? Or are they different p/n? TIA.

After a little bit of checking I am fairly certain that they are different. But how can I tell which is which? I have an unused sensor in my parts bin but can't tell whether it is front or rear. Can someone suggest to me how to tell? Length of cable, configuration of attachment points for wheel well, etc. Thanks.

Different length and they have little hook connections in different section to hold in place. One for the front left and one for the rear right.

Just solder the ends of the bad sensor wires together. No more brake nanny's.

Not always the case.

I have a light on but neither sensor has even come close to the rotors. I pulled the sensors, zip-tied them back, inspected the harness, found nothing, reset the warning light. Guess What? It's on again.

You have a broken wire somewhere on one of those sensors. That is what is causing the light. Cut the sensor wires before the connections, solder together. Reset light so simple even I was capable of doing it.
