Here is the battery ground terminal cable for your MINI:

Has the T nut on the end.

There is no part number for the T end on the MINI /BMW side I see.

I did find a similar one on the VW side. 19mm. Some of the BMW take the same one. Match it up to your old one design. If it does not work. Then the whole cable is above.

Thanks

The local auto parts place ( real one...aka NAPA, etc not the big box orange/red place) should have something that will work....might not be exactly the same...but some parts are all about function...and a good counter person is priceless in this situation.

PS....
A new end of a more conventional desgin can be put on the old cable....pretty simple...often there are boxes of these parts near the battery area....

You are welcome.

Salty - do you have a better pic of it to compare, just the T part.

Thanks

Yea, it bulges inward on the bottom of the ship anchor. I don't see anything like that version, just the VW one that bows inward.

Aloha! Last year, I stopped at our Honolulu MINI parts department. The parts guy had a bunch of the T-ends. He actually gave me one at no charge! His comment was that their mechanics go through them quite often. Wouldn't hurt for you to call/check with your dealership.
