Anyone done Corvette Blades on an MCS.

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has done Corvette Blades on an mini cooper. I am trying to find the adapter to go from 4 lug to the 5 lug pattern of the blades. If anyone has any insight that would be awesome.

This guy changed his wheel hubs or something to be a 5 bolt pattern.

Is the "blade" what people refer to as "salad shooters"?

The salad shooter is the white rim on the grey mini in the above pictures. The Blade actually came on a newer corvette like a 94.

I'd avoid using adapters and find a wheel you like that'll bolt up properly.

If you just want a 5 lug wheel I have been trying to sell my adapters that change the pattern to 5x100

Not a guy, thats Ashleys car. Adapters were used, and they are not Sawblades.

Lug adapters & spacers that are thick enough to require being bolted down introduce additional points of failure. Last thing you want is your wheel falling off when going around a corner.

They also add un-sprung weight

They also add spacing so depending on the wheel you choose your offset might be completely wrong and your wheel will stick out too far.

Let's be honest a quality adapter installed correctly will have about as much a chance of failing as the hub itself. It does change spacing and it does add weight but for most people wheels aren't about weight they are about looks and there are just more options out there in the 5 lug pattern.
