Awesome! Congrats! I ordered my MINI about 6 weeks ago, and I'm picking it up this wednesday! The wait is horrible, but I'm sure it'll be worth it once you have your MINI.

Like the name too, great song, if thats what its in reference to.

Congrats on your new baby! My girlfriend just got a Cooper and she would rather be with her car than me. LOL!

Anyway-just wondering if you had to pay over MSRP.

Ordered it at Keeler MINI in Latham, NY. Drove the demo on Sat. and fell in love. My Motoring Advisor is Andrea and she is awsome to deal with. I never felt pressed into the sale and she awnsered all my questions. I got the car for MSRP.

You should be able to sell your Miata fairly soon.

Congratulations! Did you get a production number yet? YOu can find out what production week you are that way through either your MA or 866-ASK-MINI

Welcome to the club! I have been through 4 Miatas in the last 4 years, you are not the first to move on (not up or down, more like sideways) to a MINI. The best part of the switch is you can still get performance and bling bling from Joe at RSpeed.
Post pics the day you get your car-- your mod list sooner.

Congratulations!

Ex-Miata owner here too

You car sounds close to ours, here's a picture of it fresh off the truck at the dealer.

Black/Black looks great but is some work to keep clean and scratch free. If you do your own washing, get yourself some 100% cotton terry cloths towels.

What inspired you to buy a MCS instead of an MC?

Congratulations on your MCS. Like stated earlier 2 months is nothing, I've been waiting 1 year for my Elise... And I'm still waiting.

My GF ordered her MCS a bit over a month ago. She's been tracking it online. They said her car is now built. Any guess as to how long before she gets her car?

Congrats on your order. You can always take this waiting time to shop around, pick out and order all kinds of MINI accessories so they're ready and waiting when your car arrives.

Depends where you are located.....if you are in the East Coast, may be another week to 2 weeks (Depends on how long the car stays at the VPC) before it is delivered to her dealer. If you are in the West Coast, expect another 4 to 5 weeks before taking actual delivery.

I wanted more power. That and IMHO the MCS looks way cooler to me, what with the sweet scoop on the bonnet and optional 17" wheels to say the least.
