I've always like the idea of the official MINI luggage but I just can't get past that ridiculous price so in anticipation of travelling to NH this year for MINIs on Top, I've come up with my own travel gear...

Just gotta make another one for my boyfriend and we'll have "His" and "Hers" travel bags for the MINI.

Hey Robyn, that's very nice!
Maybe you'll win one of the fantastic door prizes at MINIs On Top and the bag will become a booty bag
If you win the $1,000- gift certificate donated by Prestige MINI it'll fit very nicely.

WOW! $1000 gift certificate!!! I'm a little behind on what all the prizes are. That's awesome. Maybe I'll sew a little pocket on the side of the bag to hold that gift certificate.

Hiya Jerseygirl. Just so you know Ducttape here is looking to caravan north from your "Hood". Give him a PM and also check the gathering at Yankee Candle in Mass.

Everyone else..come soar with the MINIs...

Yeah, I know there's a caravan forming. Not sure the timing will work out for us to join up with that, but I do want to get to the Yankee Candle Factory event. Not sure what time we'll make it there yet.

Red, yellow, green with pink polka dots. Whatever floats your boat.

I'm thinking Red with the black stripe and the words Cooper embroidered on the bag. Front and back.

How much extra for the embroider work?

OK, embroidery is not one of my skills (sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but it's true). Even if it was it would take me ages to get that on there. How about some iron-on lettering? I can get small lettering that will look like embroidery (assuming they have all the letters I need to spell Cooper). I was already debating getting some of those letters to put "Nittany" on my bag.

Don't remember how much those letters cost off-hand but they're pretty small so it can't be too bad.

Iron on will work.

If possible I would like to match the iron on font with the Cooper font I've seen used on patches and logo's. Maybe I should just buy an iron on patch and have you put it on?

However I don't want to get you into an issue with royalties and other nasty issues if you make on from scratch.

Sorry to be such a problem customer.

Thank you Jerseygirl!

The two types of letters I have access to are not going to match the Cooper font. If you can get an iron-on patch that would probably be best (since you're going to be fussy as usual

And keep me in the loop on the slightly wider slightly taller GBMINI matching bag

Thanks Robyn, what wondrous work you do!

Nice color match with your car seat.
Now what we need is a multi-pocket bag to hang from the back of the drivers or passenger side headrest.

MINIs On Top Pictures

MOT 2004 was an awesome event. The team did a great job. Thank you all very much. I’ll definitely be back in 2005. Got some great pictures, although it was a little difficult to hold the camera straight in the 84MPH winds – SEE MOT2004 PICTURES HERE
