Correct belt for 17%?

I just bought a 17% for my 02, and purchased the gates k060535 belt with it, is this the proper belt for this with no slip? Who can chime in with a part number on the correct belt?

memories kinda fuzzy, but i thought mine was a 51.5 inch, not a 53.5 inch. could be wrong. its been a while. and i may be getting it mixed up with the one i have on my 19% pulley. Lol, obviously this was of no help to you. sorry.

Gates K060535 is the proper size belt. You should have no issues.

I thought so but I seen other threads where guys were complaining about belt slip and only making 12-13psi at wot with 17%. Just wanted to make sure I was gonna get every psi I could. Some guys were using a 539?

Folks have been using the 535 length for years, but a few have switched to the 532...all with the stock sized crank pulley.....change yearly for tge best results with a 17% imo.

Think the 539 is too long...similar in length to stock or jcw belt...ok when new, but stretches and slips fast. Alta at one point was shipping the 539....nor sure why, unless the person had a +2 for a crankdamper.

This is a longer belt then the 535, thats why they slipped.
