This morning before work I tried that "hidden function" whereby you press and hold the trip reset button while simultaneously turning the key to position 1. This brought up a scrolling list of menu options on the odometer. I pressed and held the trip reset button when it was displaying option 29.7, and holy carp!, the radio began playing "God Save The Queen" and all the LED guages, even the one for the A/C, displayed and flashed the number "37". When the song was finished, everything went back to normal...

Is this some sorta crazy software "Easter Egg"? I've heard that programmer's do things like this, but for a car?

Some manufacturers actually are putting easter eggs in some car computers.
