Well it's time for the second annual MINICup: a fun road rally
that's not a race (first couple of cars to finish win great prize
style items).

MINICup 2 is a meet/road rally/bar-b-cue starting at Helix
Minisports and ending at Yard's Philadelphia Microbrewery.

We will meet at 10:00am on Saturday, March 20th, and take off
shortly thereafter. The road rally will take about 2 hours, and
follow some of the better driving roads around Philly.

There will be several easy tasks that will have to be completed.
This is not a race (the first few cars to complete it win fabulous
prize style items). It will end at the fabulous Yards Brewery in
Scenic Fishtown, Philadelphia for a bar-b-cue and awards ceremony.
The event is open to anybody, teams or individuals, in any kind of
vehicle, although MINIs will, of course, be heavily favored for the
prize style items.

MINICup 2 is totally free, and like all Helix events, we condone
observing all traffic laws. For more information, feel free to email

I think we're going. No hope of winning anything because I'm completely unfamiliar with Philly but it sounds like fun. I'll just be happy if I don't get lost.

I'll be there. Attending all the way from Pittsburgh (320 miles). That should we rewarded with something ..... perhaps.........G...I...A...C. Just kidding. See you all there!

FYI: I'll be bringing along some of our Raffle Tickets for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grandprix. We are raffeling off a new Mini Cooper Convertable. Cost is $10 and proceeds go to Charity (Pittsburgh Autism Society and Allegheny Valley School for the Mentally Challenged). Look for the PW/B to buy your ticket(s)!
