I need an advice for selling mini 2006mcs.
Hi, I try to sell mini 2006mcs checkmate 6manual 51000mile with alta cold intake, 15% pulley, m7 camber plate, jcw exhaust, jcw bonnet scoop, checked side cap. however, I have 2 minor accidents. Those were all fixed. Except accidents, mini is running great and there are no mechanical problem. From KBB, excellent is $15000 and fair is $13000. Around $12,000 will be appropriate for my mini? I also live in Ok.
Take the car back to stock but let the buyer know that the car has been running increased boost via the pulley. Modified cars are tougher to sell, and aftermarket accessoires are worth way less than 50% of purcahse price.
How bad were the accidents?

A good selling point is that 2006 models are generally the most well-built. It was the last year of production on the r53 and all the bugs were figured out by then. My 2005 r50 was bulletproof...especially compared to my r56.
Let the buyer decide. If you are not in a hurry, put the car up for $12 - 13k, and see what happens. I just sold my Jetta on eBay Classifieds. I had to drop the price a couple of times, but I'm happy with what I got.

I would say put it back to stock and offer the mods to anyone who purchases the car. You could even use them as a bargaining tool. Also, if you're not in a hurry just list it at $13.5K and if you get interest then bam you get the money. If you don't get any interest lower the price and do some negotiating with the buyer. $13.5K for an 06' is pretty damn good especially for a checkmate so if it's in good enough condition I would say list it at $14K, maybe $14.5K and lower as necessary. If the all the repairs were done professionally and the paint and finish is up to factory spec or better those accidents shouldn't make too big of a dent in the price of the car.
I recently bought my 06 R53. When looking around, I immediately discounted any car that had been modified. The reason is that I assume that if a car has been modified that it was driven hard, and based on the ones I drove (A dozen or so cars, 4 had mods similar to yours), 3 out of the 4 modded ones showed signs of serious wear. The stock ones were for the most part in better shape and were owned by older people.
I ended up going with an 06 R53 with 46k for $15. 1 owner, perfect shape (literally, no scratches or dents, no bodywork), new tires, exactly the options and color I wanted. If it had the mods your had and was still in the same condition I would have still bought it, but I wouldn't have paid more than $750-1000 more. I purchased mine from a MINI dealer, if it had been private party I'd expect it to fall in the $12k-$13k range based on the other I looked at.
If I came and saw yours, I'd probably offer $12.5k for it.
