Are there airbags in the A-pillar's in my 2005 S? I ask because I was thinking of attaching speakers to the A-Pillar's...

Attached screenshot from realoem suggests just the "tail" of the curtain airbag in the front pillar, on my (2006) GP at least ... suggest you check your VIN but the 2005 should be similar.

There is a thread called 'Show me your gauges' where some modders installed gauges in the A pillar. I think they kept the airbags functional, too.

My 06 had "airbag" labels on the inner A pillar covers.

Actually, it does. When you look for the crash test videos on youtube, none of the airbags come out of the A-pillar, they come from the roof or side of the seat, then again, I have not found a video of a 2005.... 2006 and newer, yes....

the 2005 does have side/curtain airbags. The seats contain the side airbag and the curtain aibrbags will deploy from the headliner. The seats say airbag, the steering wheel and the dash in front of the passenger say airbag. It only makes sense the curtain airbag is somehow connected to the a-pillar trim that says airbag.
