The new Minis 2003/2004 and I assume earlier models take an H7 headlight bulb. From everything that I have read, the new Sylvania H7 Sylvania SilverStar is the one to beat. Around $50 for two. Big difference between that the HID factory or aftermarket auxiliarly low beam zenon light kits. Though not quite as bright, consideralby brigther (50 percent) than the standard Mini halogen low beams. And legal in all 50 US States.

Also have heard good things about the Phillips Blue Vision bulbs. Don't think you'd go wrong with either one. Stay with a well-known brand. Ebay is full of after-market bulbs. But buyer beware.

Finding the bulbs is the easy part.......but what are the different sizes and configurations that are necesary? This is the information that is needed! The sites do not list the MINI nor do they tell you the various applications. This is why the bulb size is needed. Thanks.....

hey don't roll your eyes. I'm using 192 Polargs (superwhite) on my markers
and they work quite fine...and matches the HID's.

the others, i donno (yet). Also running Polarg superwhite
H7's for my daytime lights.

Headlights (non-Xenon) - H7
Foglights - H11
Bumper Turn Signal - P???? (you can use a 1156 and file off one of the tabs, they're only used to hold the bulb in place)
Bumper Marker Lights - 192

That's all I've gotten around to changing.
