Just got the Revell 24th scale MINI Cooper plastic kit. Very good detail, and like all plastic kits, HUMUNGOUS possibilites for customizing. I'll be able to make this look exactly like Brooksie. Will post pics when finished. Cool!

How are you going to find a nice british racing green?

Does anyone know a good source for parts for customizing scale model MINIs, like decals and driving lights?

Regular automobile paint has metallic flecks that are way too large for scale models. I'll dig around the scale model places, and I'll come up with something that's really close, or I'll mix it myself from other colors, tho that's no fun. There are some excellent resources for model cars out there.

ChiliCooperMark - you may have to mix & match bits & pieces from other kits to get what you want. Some hobby shops have accessory packs for model cars, but I'm afraid you will have to scrounge. There might be some old Vacu-Form molding sets on the web for sale. You could make ANYTHING and vacuum mold it in little heated styrene sheets - they were awsome. Good luck!
