Taken during my 600 mile romp through NC on Christmas day. Mt Mitchell is the highest peak in the eastern US.

Yeah, but we have Mt. Washington up here in New England. Does your mountain get temps as low as -47 degrees, or wind up to 231mph? j/k

What do you think of a South of the Mason Dixson Line Mini's on Top adventure? LJ has mentioned it a few times, maybe combine it with a trip to Grandfather Mountian.
