Congrats on the new baby, Sav. Check out the functioning of everything, from the switchgear to the seatbacks. Look for anything that may not have been properly cleaned post transatlantic voyage. Check fluid levels and tire pressures. Bring a CD to check the system (and ride home with your favourite tunes). Don't forget to thank your MA, maybe even bring 'em a flower or two.

Motor On

If you want anything programmed differently, ie., daytime driving lights, follow me home lights, etc., you might want to get it done now. This should insure there is no attemp to charge you for this as sometimes happens when it's done later.

Congrats! What a great weekend you are sure to have!

Be sure to plan enough time to pick up your MINI. There's the paperwork, sure, but checking out your car will take at least a half hour. (I got to the dealership at closing, felt pressure to get done quickly.) Besides, you don't get to do this everyday, so savor!

God speed.

I had scratched center posts, so look over the interior really well and don't leave till they replace any scratched parts. I guess that goes for anything else inside or out.

Test drive it before signing on the dotted line! My exhaust rattles and I would have preferred to find that out at the time then go back later to get it fixed.

If you got the H/K system, bring a bass-ish CD. Many passenger side speakers are vibrating with the littlest of bass and causing static or muffled like sounds. Also something I need to get fixed.

And watch out for last minute 'deals' on extended service agreements. I bought one because it seemed like a deal and now I am not so sure. Time will tell, but maybe surfing this site on extended warranties will tell you if they are worth it or not in case you are offered one.

That is all I can offer.
