I have the option on my remote...I hold the unlock button (MINI symbol) down and it unlocks then after 1 second the hatch and windows open. I have found that if I release the button before they are unrolled completely...it stops...
It would be nice to have a one touch complete open...in Florida it helps cool the car off before I get in it.
I believe it was an option when they programmed it.

>>My 2002 cooper does it,
>>If I recall, it's the opposite, hold the lock button up "to open the car"
>>this will work with the key stuck in the drivers door, ulock the doors, but hold the key in that position,, the windows will open up.

I didn't make my self clear, the toggle button in the up position, also the key in the door trick will do the same

My dealer claims that the programmability of this feature depends on the car - I guess on what other options it has.
The feature is called "convenience opening" and it is potentially available from 3 controls: the key's remote button, the key in the exterior door handle, and the central locking toggle switch.
On my MINI, I can do it via the first 2 (the remote and the key in the door) but I was told that it is impossible for the dealer to activate the feature using my central lock toggle switch due to the particular configuration and other options of my car.
Very mysterious!
