Born on the third of oct. 30days shipping through the canal and 4-6 days in Oxnard. Don't know how long the train ride will be. Then a couple of days at the dealer in Mountain View and she should be home. All Indi Blue, Black Leather, winter, 17's Oh! it is an MCS. Been a long wait but it's all most over.

I am a member of the club...just looked at the "Track your MINI" and mine is at the Distribution Center...
so I am hoping next week..ordered mine in August, last week of Sept production

I was told by MINI that the ships can take between 12-30 days to arrive depending on the port. So, we're up in the air. I've waited so long, that a couple more weeks won't matter. At least I got the color combo that they said couldn't be had in the US...Liquid Yellow S with Lapis Interior. Don't ask me why, I've just always loved blue and yellow. Primary colors remind me of my Crayon-eating childhood.
If anybody gets more info on the Trinidad, please post and I'll do the same. If you'll excuse me I see a 48 pack of Crayons with my name on it.

Well, it looks like Hual Triton arrived in New York yesterday. Saw it at the dock from the Empire State Building web cam. However, as of today there is no update on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site to indicate that my MINI was offloaded. 
Has anyone else on the Hual Triton checked the WW website and gotten confirmation their car was offloaded?

Guess I'll join the support group.... er.... club.
My production date was 10/18 and the WW site showed my car arriving in Southampton on 10/22. Unfortunately, it missed the ship (Faust) when it sailed on 10/23. I assume my car's partying in Southampton with all the other Minis waiting to sail on the Fidelio on 11/02.
Sure hope it doesn't miss its trip across the pond this time! I'm passing the days by ordering accessories.

Anticipating a November 15th - 20th delivery I've started to dismantle my Celica GTS!
Today I booked an appointment with my cell phone guy to remove the Nokia cradle and other cell stuff from the Celica.
When the call comes, I'll be ready - Drop'n Go! Drop the Celica (back to the leasing company) and Go Home Newly Invigorated! I've had lots of cars (from Triumph Spitfires to Vettes, from Landcruisers to Jeeps) but nothing has ever had me as pumped as the MINI.
I think some of the blame falls on the members of this forum. You guys have me jumpin'!!

Hey,
I went to see me dealer last week and my car has been brought forward by six weeks!!! I was expecting to get my Cooper S on 01/01/03 but it will be at the dealer on the 14th of November and I cn collect it on the 15th. Very excited!!! Christmas has come early this year!

Oh boy, this could be tight!
I was told by my dealer today (Nov 5) that my MCS arrived in Halifax today! Yeah - we're off the water, no swimming lessons needed.
However, we're now two to three weeks before arrival at the dealer in Toronto. That means delivery on or about the week of Nov. 18th or the 25th. This could be close. The founder of the "Can't Wait For November Club" might become a December delivery.
Damn - I so want out of this Club. Hey, Decemberites, make room....!!

Knowing that My Sharona has landed in Canada, I've been online at minicooperparts.com and others buying stuff for my soon-to-be new arrival.
She's getting a brand new antenna, and I'm getting some LY/B MINI pins.
Next - skid plates, performance parts, and maybe, just maybe, flame decals for the sides (as mentioned in another thread).
Has anybody else bought add-ons before delivery?
I'm also seriously thinking of the arm rest with storage compartment that I've seen at many online MINI parts retailers. I'm just waiting for black. I don't think the grey would work with the black leather interior.

I've been loaded on the Maersk Teal and due to arrive in NY on the 14th.
I have on order a BMP cold air intake and Jackson racing plug wires. I'm also trying to get a checkered roof ordered that will fit on the sunroof. Had the dealer order the black aero kit grill.
