My MCS is on the Manon. It'll be in L.A. on the 28th. I'm taking delivery from Salt Lake and I'm also having the aero kit, rally lights, bonnet stripes and white rear light cluster installed so that will add a few days. I'm hoping the second week in November? the wait is killing me!!! my friend got her MC a week and a half ago...I get to drive it occasionally, and that was the WRONG move...now I'm really going bonkers!

 

Hey all of you I am sorry to report that I put a deposit down on August 9th
I was told no Mini until January. I got a call early Oct that I could be moved to December and they finally placed my order in October . This makes me a December Club member. I am calling Westchester Mini tomorrow to find out when and if its built yet. I ordered a DS, white roof and mirrors sports/premium/and cold weather package (which Ill need if i get it in December). I am tired of waiting. :evil:I see I have a lot of company!!! Momentum

I think I got overly excited... I'm realy going to be a December club member.

 

I'm in too. My car originally was a Oct. 11 prod. date but it was started on the 2nd. It was listed as "en route" on Sunday. I checked the web site that tracks ships and my ship the Tai Shan will be in Port Hueneme, Ca on Nov. 11th. It's going faster than I thought. I'm hoping to get it late-Nov.

 

My MCS pure silver/black is abord the Don Juan. Set to arrive NY on the 5th of Nov and Balt on the 7th of Nov. I'm not sure where I'll stop, but It's getting closer. It seems to be going much faster than the Mini website claims.

 

Yep - it seems that our November Charter Members will all be out of The Club on schedule.

So I finally went from on order to scheduled for production. So how are you guys finding the actual date for your production? No info like that at the owner's lounge is there?

 

Called ASKMINI today and found out that my car was completed on 10/21 and is currently sitting at the Southampton dock waiting for the Don Juan to come into port. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick it up over Thanksgiving (American) weekend!! Almost there!

Just talked to my dealer. My car was just finished yesterday. It's not at the docks yet but still hoping for Thanksgiving.

 

This Club is going to clear out quick! I can't believe the number of builds/shipping-out MINIs we have.

It's going to be some holiday season, that's for sure!

 

My apologies to the can't wait for november club....although i was a charter member i found out this morning that my mcs was loaded on a carrier and heading for my dealer today...my dealer has informed me that there is a slight chance i may be able to pick it up tomorrow, but definitely by monday (possible delay due to driving light install)...so it looks like i have moved to the can't wait for october club...good luck to all and hope your minis arrive sooner than expected as mine did....

 

SHOW ME THE MINI!

I am afraid that I may become a reluctant member of your club. My car had a September 27 build date, was loaded on a boat on September 30, arrived in the port on October 9th. It was then moved to the processing center on the 12th where it has been ever since (today is 10/25/02) Neither my dealer or the MINI Owner's Lounge has been able to tell me when I will get my car. The web site still shows 10/12/02 as the estimated delivery date. I'm afraid that the car may have sustained some damage and that could be causing the delay. Anyhow, I am not optomistic that I will see the car this month.

I wish that all of the other members have better luck than I am having and get their cars quickly.

 

Hi all-- my baby was born today 10/25...I'm even more keyed up now, if that's possible! Now my big worry is how long it will take to get to the west coast-- and how long it will sit offshore while the backup at the ports is taken care of. Dare I still hope for Thanksgiving delivery? In any case, as of now I'm still considering myself in The Club.

Mine just got finished being built yesterday! Looking at a Nov. 17th delivery, according to dealer. Can't Wait. Yippee!!!!

 

Moved to awaiting transport overnight.

 

npartist, I'm so jealous! Nov 17!!! You must be on the east coast-- it's gonna take at least a couple of weeks longer (according to both MINIUSA and the dealer) for mine to arrive here in SoCal.

My MINI was finished on the 24th and just got switched to waiting transport. How do you know it will get in on the 17th? I checked the shippers web site and my MINI is not logged for a ship yet. I would love to have my car by 11/22 but I'm not counting on it.

 

hi all!! as previously posted i aplogized for being a charter member of the can't wait for november club and now it is reality...i presently have an ib/ib mcs with 205 miles on the odo parked in my driveway...good luck to all of my friends in the can't wait for november club and hope yours arrives soon..i know i was very lucky

Was able to find much more detail than at the owner's lounge. found out that my MCS actually arrived at the port before the owner's site showed it being built. when clicked on the voyage, got full details of the ship and arrival dates. more information makes the wait easier. thanks again.

You were right on the money. My mini is sitting in Southhampton, waiting to be shipped on 10/31 aboard the Trinidad and it looks like it will be going to California. OH, HAPPY DAY. I can almost imagine it fully. Thanks again for the info.
