for those of you on the west coast, you should be relieved to hear that the President invoked Taft/Hartley and has the dock workers going back to work on the west coast. I heard no later than late tomorrow afternoon...

I'm in the club too... also with a production date of 10/25. Not a huge fan of the Prez but he's earned my thanks by getting the port shutdown taken care of, at least for the time frame in which Alfie should be delivered here to the LA area! And as for the Owner's Lounge, it hasn't changed at all since I first got my prod. #. Thank gawd for ASK MINI!

Dealer installed alarm costs about $450. I had it done here in Germany, and the cost was 480 Euro including labor.

Hope you all get your cars soon, I remember how the wait was for me. It seemed like the longest two months of my life.

MOTOR ON!!!

I'll join the club. I have 11/8/02 as my production date for my Cooper. My dealer (sounds like a drug fix) tells me I can expect her in November. This wait is worse than waiting nine months for my son.

Two months can't be that bad, since there are others who have been waiting 4-6 months or more.

Motor on.

Well, My MCS silver/black was scheduled for delivery!!! I was bumped from 10/18 to 10/25, but it's making progress. I'm fired up. I am disappointed that I won't get the cool new pedals and steering wheel, but I guess I can deal with that...

CR/W MCS with all three packages, rally lights, and I am debating the perforated american flag decal. orignally scheduled for production in early september, finished on sep 27, put on a boat on oct 3, scheduled to be in port oct 27, figure that will put me in the november club. i guess i finally found something bad about living on the west coast: two extra weeks on a ship.

>>Does anyone have any pics of the "new cool wheel and pedals"?
>>
>>My Sharona is in production sometime this month. What am I missing out on?

The new pedals look just like the foot rest pedal. The break and clutch pedals are obviously a little smaller than the gas though.

How about you other October build/November delivery Club members?

Any word as to where your vehicles are? Some are built and heading for the sea, others appear to be on the line somewhere.

Share your news - we will all be out of the Club within six weeks - so let's party while we can!

And - what colour is your MINI? Let's see if they're all being built together, or if the assembly line mix 'n matches to make life interesting!

Looks like I'm officially in the club also. Scheduled for production 10/25. Changed from "On Order" to "Scheduled for Production" yesterday. Can't wait... My dealer is probably tired of me taking test drives!

Congrats, satchmo. My MINI was born on 10/11 as well, but when I called MINI the rep couldn't give me any specific info on when it would ship, etc. Was he just being lazy or is there another way to get this info? I'd like to find out. Being in Arizona I'm not sure to which of the three US ports he'll be coming in at, but we may end up on the same boat. In the mean time, LTLBUD will be sittin' on the dock of the bay....

I've waited this long, but the waiting gets harder knowing that it's built and waiting to come home.

Best regards all,

Jason

LY/Lapis S. Everything, but heated seats (I'm in AZ) and Nav (I'm looking forward to getting lost)

Jason,

Go to this site: http://213.31.205.37/GLWebApps.AppTracking

click on "auto" and enter the last seven digits of your VIN...

(You can get your VIN from the MINI USA Owner's Lounge or Call MINI, if you don't already have it.)

This site will tell you if the car is at the Port, when it got there and on which ship it will be loaded.

For ship schedules, go to this site:

http://www.wlna.com/ocean/SCHEDULES.asp

I'd be bettin, your mini will go to Port Hueneme, CA....

Satchmo

This doesn't look good, I have a production date of 10/25 and it hasn't changed yet. Maybe I'm about to be bumped again.

im in the november club too! my electric blue cooper s was scheduled to be delivered on the 26th, but after visiting my dealer tonight to alter some options i have learnt that i should be able to expect delivery sooner. its like christmas come early! it feels like an eternity though, ive been waiting since early july and have been without a car since august cos my vw jetta gti got wrote off in an accident with a big truck. might have avoided it if it had DSC. s**t happens.

I got a little bad news yesterday. I was getting the anthracite (sp) dash, but my dealer called and said that MINI was halting production of that particular dash.

Hey Seemunkee! Congrats!!!
Glad to see your post. You are the man that can answer my question! Aprox. How long was your wait form on order to production?
Going crazy waiting!!!!!

My factory ordered options is blank too. I emailed them with the question, haven't heard back from them.

Getting closer!

My MCS is loaded on the HUAL TRITON, which should have sailed yesterday from Southampton. Looks like 300-400 MINIs on board. Scheduled to dock in New York on 29 Oct. My dealer tells me they are averaging a week from Dock to VPC to dealership (not too bad, since the dealer is Detroit metro area)! WOO HOO!!!!

Looks like I'll be out of the club in early November!

Who else is on the Hual Triton?

Satchmo

If you mean from when I first placed the ordere it has been several months. Part of my delay was that there were several people waiting for the BRG and Dark Blue to be availbable so I was bumped back. I placed my order in July.

>>My factory ordered options is blank too. I emailed them with the question, haven't heard back from them.
Don't expect to see them. They haven't entered the 2003 options/packages so they are not showing up. I called MINI and they verified my options.
