Hi,

Here are some shots of the "I wave" logo I created last night. The vinyl shop took the Shocker hand, filled it in and die cut an "I" in the middle to create my logo. They used the "tomato red" not the "burgundy red" to create it. Wow wonder what he would of thought if I explained I work in Marketing and I understand PMS colors, RGB and CMYK LOL.

The hand itself is approx. 4" long and it fits perfectly on the top corner of my windshield and doesn't obstruct my view at all. Feel free to take my idea and run with it. I'd love nothing more than to drive down a road one day and see a MINI coming at me sporting one of these LOL

Beautiful colors with the blackout . What I love about minis is that no two look alike. Great idea about the waves. We still get them quite often in our neck of the woods.

 

Ok so I was a little disappointed this weekend.....I went down to Import Alliance in Nashville TN. Drove from WI to TN and only got 1 wave on the way to the show, and 1 wave on the way back :( Where's the love?? :( I was very upset :(

 

You should have drove a little further to AL and I would have waved to you Lilminigrl21. I rarely see a Mini in this part of the state.

 

This weekend, i was driving near the san jose airport and i had a chance to make a nice guy's day. . . he was entering from a yard. He raised his left hand as if obligated, but when i waved, he waved vigorously with a huge smile.

 

I've been on vacation in Anchorage, AK for the past week. Been using my sister's '06 HB/W MCS, and have been getting about 3 waves per day. That's a lot more than I expected to get!

 

I still wave at every MINI I see. There are a couple of "regulars" that wave back, but, the closer I get to my work (Univ of Maryland) the less I get return waves. I suspect when all of the students return I will see many more MINI's and LESS waves!

 

The wave is alive and healthy in NW Ohio. While out and about this last weekend, we had 4 MINI encounters and 4 enthusiastic waves.

 

It's just fun!

When I'm paying attention (yes, I'm a girl), I wave. It really makes my day to get waved at, though. I have one yellow mini in my area. They don't wave... OR I haven't noticed. My sister bought one a year after mine. She waves all the time... I'll try to do better at waving. I promise!!

 

a vast majority don't wave, they are oblivious.
so instead of getting pissed, I identify a MINI approaching, get ready for a wave and then begin to look in their eyes for some sort of recognition, if it ain't there, i keep my hand down and usually they just drive on by???

I actually got a wave back yesterday and I suspect the person who waved is actually on these forums!

 

Yesterday I got a surprised, startle-type wave back to my enthusiastic arm-way-out-the-window wave from a guy in a blue MINI MCS.

 

Some guy in an Audi waved at me yesterday. Must be MINI driver in his family car. I find even when I'm driving my other car, I have this urge to wave at MINIs passing by. Even though hardly anybody waves back anymore.

 

LOL I do that all the time. Best one was lately I was driving my 71 longbed chevy with a LOAD of gravel in the back and I saw a MINI coming.. I waved and THEY DIDNT WAVE!! I was sooo mad!! Until I figured out what vehicle I was in LOL!!

 

pretty bummed out lately! I wave to every mini I see. I see a ton a day... within the last few days, 1 person waved back! WTF! jerks please wave! it's respectful! kthanx

I did the same thing one day while driving my 4x4 diesel Excursion. Waved at a pretty young lady in a blue MCS, and I got a wave back! Wasn't until a minute later that I realized that this time I got a wave that I didn't really deserve. Now if I can just find her while I'm driving the BRG MCSc.
