Wireing problems after I replaced Clutch
Hi All,
I recently pulled the motor from my 02 Cooper S, Electric Blue to replace the clutch. ( Pictures Attached )Before i could finish the job i had to have back surgery and didn't get to finish the job in a timely manner. I need to know where 2 wires connect. If someone would help me by looking at their Mini and tell me where these 2 wires connect. they are on the top of the motor and should be easy to find with minimal disassembly. This is my first time in this forum and I will be greatfull for all the help i can get.
Thanks,
Need to Motor

Pics of the wires
Ok, here are some pics of the wires. One of the wires comes from the bundle at the top of the trasmision bell housing. It is the last pair of conductors at the back side of a bundle. Two conductors with a modular plug. The colors are Blue with a Yellow stripe and Green with a Purple stripe The other is a single conductor that comes up from the power steering pump and is bundled with a wire that connects at the bottom of the fuse panel in the engine compartment. Both are red, one has a modular connector that attaches to the fuse panel. The other is a round connector with a hole in the center so it can be attached with a screw or nut on a bolt. in the second pic i marked the wires i need to know where they connect with a white tab. I hope this is clear enough.
Thanks for your help,

I believe the cable on the right, bolts to the frame below the fuse box. I don't remember if its a stud or a bolt. The conector doesn't look like any of the ones on my car that are visable but it only appears to have two wires and the only two wire connector I can think of goes to the power steering pump. If it is it will have some pretty large contacts in it.
Hope this helps

well in the 2nd picture.. the connector on the left appears to be the reverse light switch connector. it plugs in on the back side of the trans.
the cable on the right.. are you sure that both wires are RED coming from the power steering pump? One should be red and one Brown which is the ground that should go to the ground point under the fuse block.
