17X7 ET+40
Just got an used R53 MCS. I am looking for a track / winter set rims. Will I get any issue with this set up 17X7 ET +40?

Simple answer is..., No you won't have any issues. However it will also depend on your suspension and tire that you plan to run.

I run 17x7 with ET +38. No problems with 205/45/17. Stock suspension.
