You might check your motor mounts.

Knock when turning

Could be a torn upper strut mount. Open the hood and look down inside of the strut tower, it'll be pretty obvious if the rubber mount is torn.
I've got about 110,000 mile on my MCS and never had a problem with my CV joints but I have had one torn upper strut mount.

Good luck
Steve

Torn lower control arm bushing and/or failed ball joint.

If it sounds like 2 Cue ***** hitting each other it could be the Cv Joints

it’s a 2003 mini S with 75000km on it, I have kw's and alta end links... yesterday I took everything out to see if I could catch anything to the eye but I didn’t....
I’m leaning towards the cv joint reason why is when I had everything out everything just dropped to the floor.... but the cv joint had not rips in the rubber housing so I really don’t know,

as for the upper strut mount I doubt its that because it doesn’t make any sounds when I hit bumps.... like I said only rights turns pulled all the way and now when hard brake and start

Thanks for the details. Have you checked the front control arm rear bushings?

Many things. But before we cross that bridge let's make sure that your bushings are bad. If they are then we can talk about which is best for you.

I had knocks with hard turns (wheel turned all the way). It was the joint in the steering column and both racks were replaced.

I’ve read the symptoms of a bad bushing and that doesn’t really sound like the problem that I have..... My wheel doesn’t move back and forth and no vibration on hard brake.....so I really don’t know as of now it’s could be the axel vc, bushing or a torn upper strut mount
