Why is my CLOCK FREEZING?
so my clock keeps on freezing, i'll drive 30 minutes and i'll take a look and it says the same time.
i've done ECU resets and it'll work, but only for a few days then reset again.
whats wrong with my clock?

What year is your MINI? More details about your MINI when asking questions allows folks to give a more directed response.
For instance, sometime during the production run of the 2005 MCS's, MINI had a bad batch of clocks. They kept losing time. I never noticed the one in my wife's MCSa (production late May, early June 2005) freezing but it consistently lost time. Obviously if your MINI isn't an '05, this doesn't apply to your situation.

What!? 0:00 for midnight is just about the coolest thing a clock could do. I've searched for a desk clock that displays midnight as 0:00.
After midnight my clock displays AM 12:01. Is yours in 24h display mode? Then 0:01 would be correct.
My clock is in 12 hour mode, but shows 0:00 for midnight. Remember, in the early cars, the clock was up by the rear view mirror. On later ones the clock is in the speedo area. I suspect it might not display 0:00 midnight.
oh well.
Had the same issue when I first bought my 05. They replaced the whole unit and it has not happened since (3+ years)
