Mine's coming mid January. Anyone else? Just ordered a little over a week ago. So i have a 3 month wait total, maybe a little longer.
Ahh well....at least there's MCO.

Nice name CirgquDeSoMini, I've seen some of that on Bravo.

If you're on the east coast, the average wait is about 2.5 months. West coast is much longer because the boat has to go through the Panama Canal and other reasons. I dont remember what the average wait is from order on the west coast right now, I'm too excited, I just got my 04 on Saturday.

Cars to Houston offload in South Carolina and are transported by truck from there.

You may want to call ask mini and check the status. I have a 10/17 build date. My car was in the paint shop on the 9th and is forecast for a November delivery.

After ordering an MCS from the MiniCenter in San Antonio on 8/26/03, last Friday, 10/10/03, I FINALLY got a call with a production number for my car whereupon I checked MINIUSA. My expected production date is set for 11/14/03.

Could anyone with experience in this waiting game hazard a guess as to when my car might actually reach the dealer? (I've read many threads about this and it seems it could be anywhere from 6 weeks to 2-1/2 months).

My estimated production date is 11/7 and my estimated delivery date is 1/15/04 for Houston. So i'd say mid to end of january for you too.

That's pretty much what this is. I didn't want to call it the same thing. I'm creative like that.

I guess it's my turn to finally join my very own can't wait for club. I will be ordering my MINI next month. It will be a December 03 production with a January delivery. I am so excited!!! Finally, my very own MINI!

d2create - With an early November production date I'd say you are a shoe-in for a December delivery. You may want to look up the December club.

Keep in mind that your production date is the last day of the week that your car will be completed. For example my production date is 10/17 but my car was Released to Distribution today. I could be on a ship by this time next week.

And this is just a rule of thumb, but figure 2 weeks from the Vehicle Processing Center at the port of entry to your dealer. This could (and does) vary considerably but it gives you a rough idea.

And welcome January clubbers. You are in for a fun ride.

Here's my experience....

Estimated production date 3/22/03
Actual finish date 3/20/03
At dealer (San Antonio) 4/27/03
Ready for pickup 4/29/03
Home in Austin 4/30/03

Hope this helps...bear in mind that I was waitlisted (and bumped) from my first boat--cost 5 days--but I seemed to have a fairly typical stay in the VPC in SC...YMMV!

Good luck with the wait!

That does seem a little longer than what I've been reading here. My dealer also said end of january for Houston delivery and my EPD is Nov 7. I wonder if they are giving us worst case scenarios?

Just put in the order today, the estimated build is 2nd or 3rd week of December. According to my dealer, "Twitters" will be ready by around mid-January. I expect
a delivery 3rd or 4th week of Jan...

caio,
