Anyone have any pics of a flat black or black primer mini? I think it would look wicked, but I haven't seen one yet. Saw it a few years ago in SCC mag when they painted an sti with spray cans in the back yard.
Having seen Lyle's (Vinyl Styles) car in person, I must say that it the BEST wrap I've seen.
He recently applied some black vinyl details to a new white Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. Looks like it came from the factory! Actually BETTER!!
HDR = High Dynamic Range. It's a method of photography that lets you capture large gradients of light in a single photo. If you go overboard though, that is too say making the light range to big, then you get a picture like that. It isnt a bad picture, it just doesnt look "natural".
I saw his car last week and his work is very good. It took him 30 hours to do. I think it costs around $3K for the wrap. He also just wrapped this 335.
By the way, that's actually matte black. Matte Black looks better than flat black because of the lusterous sheen it produces. It's incredibly beautiful. Flat black looks like a primer and while primer is okay, it's not as great as matte IMO.

I think it's a great picture. It's art. Perfect for subject and setting. Creates an aura of fantasy appropriate to the implied story.
