R50/53 Racing a GTI!
Racing a GTI!
Hey guys have a race against a GTI today, not very familiar with the car.
His Mods: revo stg2, nuespeed intake, DP to stock catback, Forge FMIC, Forge DV
Mine: 15% Pulley, One ball, alta intake with clean filter
, all mats and possible seats out of car, no gas in tank.
What do you think will be the outcome?

Owning a R56 S with only a CAI, boost tubes and a full turbo back exhaust AND A 2008 R52 S I think you might struggle. There is nothing fast about a lightly modified R53/52. Take the passenger seat out for good measure and drive the scheise out of her.
No really, that pulley will be your saving grace. It should offer a decent run.

What year GTi? Regardless... still probably the GTi. The Mk 5's have a 2.0 turbo, the Mk4's are 1.8 turbo.
