Where did you take the pictures? It looks like Northern California coast but I see Michigan plates?

Youre close. Its in the Sierra Nevada mountains outside Yosemite. I'm a dual resident in MI and CA, and right now my MINI is in CA...

I was going to say US50 Tahoe or I80 going to Reno area, same mountain range, just 2 inches up on the map !
