thanks for the pictures. I really like it with the black top, I dont' know how it would look with the bonnet stripes. Indi blue itself doesn't seem to be a very popular color, so I know that finding it with a black top would be hard. Oh well, if I find it, I find it, if not, white top looks awesome too.

 

actually indi blue is a pretty popular color..i dont have #s to prove it..but i see quite a few them on the road

usually people get white roof on dark cars to contrast the car..dark roof on dark car (unless its a black/black or body colored) doesnt contrast it well...thats all i was saying :smile:

They both look good. I think of the black roof as a sexier look, and the white roof as a more cute look. The car will look darker with the black roof, but won't look as dark as the BRG looks when it has a black or even same color roof.

 

One other thing I'd like to note, is that the white mirrors are a pain to keep clean. Bug splats galore, and those splats show up really well.

It looks...hmmmm....weird. Not very fond of the IB with Black Top. I actually prefer either white top or same body color roof with Indy Blue.

I knew I didn't want a white roof from the start. Too much contrast for me - I like subtlety. I also didn't like the body colored roof because the pillars would still be black and that looked odd to me. To each his own though.

When I go to the dealerships, I see how many EB and silver MCS they have in comparison to the number of IB. Fewer IB cars seem to come in. The car in my sig is EB because I couldn't find a picture of an IB MCS in that stance.

I'm going to call around tomorrow to try and find an alternate MCS than the one coming in on October 15th. I don’t think I'll be getting the black roof, but thanks for the pictures, they really helped me decide. I was thinking about working some carbon fiber onto the car, so I thought that a black top and stripes may help the cf blend into the car a bit better.
