I picked up a neat Union Jack badge for my MCS and there is some disgareement in the household as to where it's supposed to go. My wife says dead center of the grill. I'm partial to a few inches left of center. I know it's my car and I can put anywhere I want, but given the British proclivity for doing things just so, is there a "proper" placement?

I think the badge on the grill look good. Lots of the older English sports cars had them on the front bumper using a mounting bracket. Modern cars along with MINI’s don’t have bumpers that will accommodate badge bars. The grill placement looks good.

 

Looks good to me. Iwould NOT put it in the middle. It would detract from the Mini badge and attempt to look "even" in an unsatisfying way.

 

Off-center. My .02. Centered is boring. Asymetrical is more interesting.

I would either move it closer to the passenger side, or, at the least, lower it so the silver of the badge doesn't 'touch' the silver trim of the grill. It should be framed by the body color.

Just my .02c. But what do I know?
