Doesn't a post from MiniDivision = Default? Legal Eagles Reply! Does this default their case?

Unless MiniDivision is NOT really who they say they are.

This is surprising.... We're still trying to work something out with BMW so I'm really surprised to see them on here.

I'm glad to see that MINIDIVISION is monitoring mco. Shows they have some sense and maybe really do care about their current & potential customers.

Agreed here. This is an outspoken group of people, and this will help people feel like the company from whom they bought their cars has not turned their back on them.

Funny how they didnt even acknowledge my post about a slew of problems I am having with my car which are more serious than a sunroof opening. Also MINI Division has made no attempt to contact me by phone to even ask if everything is going ok with the status of my car. Maybe they will change their tune when they recieve the certified letter from the law firm Ive hired.

Do you still work at the dealership? Good luck with that letter...

Big deal minidivision posted....

Just another robotic response, nothing constructive. "We're sorry you had I problem with your car. I've disscussed it with the guy in the cube next to mine, the janitor, and the mailroom guy. Please call 866-ASK-MINI if we can be of help."

I've seen one post from them that was worth the time it took to type it, that was the announcement of the Aux Jack.

Sorry but I think your making a big deal over a non-event.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions about this. Just because MINI has people monitoring, or even commenting on this site, may have nothing to do with the legal issues.

It seems to me that MINI understands the value of this community, and may even like that it exists and helps their clients, but the underlying trademark issues still remain.

Until the name is changed, or somehow Mark arranges to license the name from MINI, the legal issues will still exist.

In reading some of the recent thread where MINIUSA has posted, one of the users stated that they were aware of the post and are working with him/her towards a solution. Unless I am mistaken, the posts from MINIDivision didn't include a 'reference number' until now. This is something a bit beyond just a generic 'call MINIUSA' posting like they were in the past.

I'm glad to see that her is back too!

Seriously, though: if they're responding to a silly sunroof thing, how come they won't get on the Stumble thread and at least tell us that they're working on it and when they expect to see software? It is the single most conspiracy-theory-filled thread on here, yet they continue to let us come up with new theories on a daily basis without filling us in. What gives!?

They don't call you because they read your posts on MCO. They know all about your car!

My '02 Cooper CVT has had update 32.2 since early May and haven't had any problems. Just returned yesterday from an 800 mile roadtrip and zero problems. The car currently has 13.4K miles on the clock.

You couldnt possibly make that more clear even if you engraved it into my skull with a knife youve said it so many times.
