Interesting, no surprise that the the suspension is being overworked with "275" HP.


Edit: If you look at what they are doing the number are probably a bit optimistic...

Edit 2: ~15000 pounds for the conversion to 275, for that price you could easily get a full stroker installed and have a far more durable setup.

 

Nouse4aname prefers this one, and so do I.

640 HP, AWD, 0-60 in 4.5 sec.

 

BigSky... this comparison (from Top Gear) is multiple years old, and was not created nor uploaded by Muladesigns1... why did you post it as though it was from him? Besides, can't he speak for himself?

well yeah its old but for us with 1st gen, its kinda right on. Anything to do with our MINIs I like to see.

Does anyone know how much the retro fit costed? I would be very interested in doing that for a commuter car. I would need 640 hp. heck, 320 would still be a lot!
