Time to change the thread subject...but the contents are the same.

I've never seen such positive initial feedback on MCO. If you haven't seen it, check out the dash picture below!

...all points bulletin has just been broadcast to New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Police...

Robyn, aka "Jerseygirl" has not been seen in hours. Last sighted at Princeton MINI dealer, picking up her IB Cooper.

By now she may be in Connecticut or Virginia...

If you see her, don't attempt to stop her, instead send a reply to this posting. She is likely to have a crazed look on her face, often associated with driving a MINI on the first day of ownership. We may need to launch an intervention...

p.s. Don't be alarmed if she is muttering something to the effect of "wanna buy a vw?"

I'M BACK!!! I am touched by your concern for my well-being.

Got to the dealership at 4:30 today and Nittany was safely tucked away under a car cover in the delivery bay of the showroom. A bit of paperwork and we were off.

Unfortunately, I made my maiden journey during NJ rush hour so there was plenty of traffic even on the back roads I was on. But even at 40 mph it was great!! I still can't believe how easy the car is to drive. Usually takes me a while to adjust to a new clutch but I just hopped in and drove off with no problems.

We forgot to take pictures when we stopped to drop off the other car before heading out, and I forgot to grab the camera before we left too (never said I was very smart). Anyway, the sun was pretty low when we got home but here are some baby pictures (I hope)...

That's one great looking MCS. Really like the Lapis Blue seats and the dash. I didn't know you could get a dash the color of your car. See you have the HK stereo system, I have it in my MCS and just love it. Enjoy
Charles

P.S. I have a M3 car cover for sell.

The dash was a dealer option. It was already painted when I first saw the car and I thought it was great. They told me it was the first car they had done that with (at that dealership at least) so I guess I'll be unique for a little while at least.

Congratulations! She's a beauty! I saw that car at the dealership early last week when I brought mine in for service. The painted dash is so cool!! Good luck! Look forward to meeting you at some Mid-Atlantic/New York-New England events.

Yeah, it will be nice to put some faces to the names I see around here. I think I'm definitely going to Okt-cooperfest.

Man! It's pictures like that that make me think I should've gone with IB instead of EB! But geez I love ALL the Mini colors... just somewhat partial to blue.

Sorry, one M3 and one MCS is enough for me.

Don't be too jealous. It's getting parked in the garage until I get the clear bra installed now.

After that I'll be replacing the bonnet stripes since I've read it's better to install them OVER the bra. I've already got my eye on what I want to get but I'll worry about the bra first.

Your MINI is awesome! Congrats!

Why did you pick the name Nittany? Are you a Penn Stater???

Indeed I am a Penn Stater but that's not why I got blue and white. It just happened to be a coincidence that I liked the blue.
