Looks like a good list. I think you might want to check out Autopia.org for some polishing advice. That Prima shopping list looks like it's for car with major problems. LOL.
Might be able to save some dough and time after reviewing the techniques the Autopia folks use.

thanx for the advice. car isnt that bad at all actually. unless i have it wrong i would use swirl first ( to get out the slught swirl marks. then amigo as the polish/glaze/ then epic as the wax. the reason for the finish is i have heard many people use it on the a-pillars to get rid of marks there. the hydro and slick are for between wash use and after wash use.

i think i have this wright but will look into it

Ummmmmmmm... no. Those Prima products are what most of us NAM OCDetailers use every six months or so on our MINIs. Those are the basics to keep the paint looking new (new as in from the factory, not new as in the dealer screwed it up).

Autopia ? I wouldn't trust them with washing my bicycle.

No worries. Everyone has their opinion on how to detail a car. There is lots to be learned by everyone. Just posting my opinion for what worked for me... Just seemed like a lot of products to use when just three or four would achieve the same stellar results.
...but I realize Prima has a cult following with the Mini crowd similar to the Zaino following on other forums. Nothing wrong with that.

I wasn't saying it's not okay to use another line of products.

I was correctly you when you said you only need those products andrew listed on a MINI with "major" problems. Simply not true. He'd need Prima Cut if he had major problems. Or a paint job.

lol...and this is a MUCH MUCH smaller list then what i usually use when i do the car. Only reason i am switching is that i have been a life long Megs user and need to replace some of the stuff. Usually my routine is as follows
1 - clay
2 - fine cut cleaner on any deep marks
3 - swirl remover ( probably twice on any places that need it
4 - two coats of show car glaze
5 - two coat of synthetic wax
each layer polished with a microfiber pad on an older 6" polisher
then i spritz the entire car with final inspection and buff again. after all that i use megs vinyl and rubber conditioner/cleaner on everything followd by back to black on all the plastc trim.
lastly i do all the lenses and windows with vinigar/water mix followed by regular windex
AND THATS JUST THE OUTSIDE!! (by then i have already done the inside and detailed the engine)
takes about two days usually and i do most of it every three months at least
