Is your MCS your #1 or do you rely on something else?
I sold my audi and bought the mini but also bought a R6.
Ive had the bike for 2months and the mini for 1 month
I have 3,000 miles on the R6 but have only mustered about 250 miles on the Mini. and most of those are just to one of the local euro car meets on mondays.
Granted if it is Pouring i take the mini but under light rain im still biking it.
So yes. Is the mini your DD #1 car or are you like me and just let it sit around and look pretty most of the time. and drive it when u wanna have some fun or when necessary?
I have a 2 mile commute, and don't want to barely get the engine warmed up before parking my princess in a school parking lot with lots of Jr. High kids running amok! So my Saturn (reliable, steadfast, loyal with no name or vanity plate) is my practical DD.
Scoop, the pampered princess (has a gender, name, nicknames AND vanity plates!!!!!) comes out on sunny days, has a home in the garage, and is my midlife crisis play toy!
Mini is the DD for me Prelude is the DD for the lady and the other 2 sit in the garage w/covers on them unless it's going to be a beautiful day..... or track day lol
My MINI was intially my daily driver, but since my commute ballooned from 60 miles round trip to 125, I bought a Honda Civic LX for a beater. The MINI is for weekends/recreational driving
I drive mine anytime I possibly can. Only take out the SUV when we have to carry a lot of if there is any rick of damage due to drunks being in the car or anything like that.
My MINI is currently my DD, but I'm working on trying to get either an 08' 250 Ninja or a used Vulcan 500 to use for daily commute when it isn't raining.
