Hi NAM Mini people!

I put this on our local club and have gotten on response so I am opening it up to NAM as well.
I really didn't want to ship them, but I will pay up to $10 shipping. I would ask you to help for anything over that once you get them on your honor!

I recently bought a 2002 Mini Cooper S and joined the club.

When I bought my mini it had some tailights I didn't really like on it so I swapped them out.

I am going to give them away to a local mini owner to score some bonus Karma points.

If you are interested in them just post a note here and I will randomly choose a name May 24th from the list and you can drop by my office in the west end and pick them up.

I will even help you install them if you would like.

These fit the 2002 MCS and I think that means they will fit any mini that DOES NOT have reverse lights in the tailights.

They are nice lights...just not what I like!

I still think tailights should be red........and improving on the factory ones is tough.

But someone is going to be happy.

I would like to get them if they are not taken already. Here's my plan. I would like to use them as a charity auction item at our next event in Helen, GA. I will list you as one of the donors/sponsors. Our last event is in the current issue of MC2 Magazine on pg. 79. I'm working to make the next event even better given the lessons learned from this past event (which by the way was GREAT!). The event is open to any MINI owner, but due to the location it is mostly a southeast MINI club event.

On some of the other lists I am on people do it all the time with whatever stuff they have around they aren't using anymore.

The lights really aren't THAT bad. They just aren't my style. My son called them "Disco Ball" and I think he is right.

I put some of the APC lights ( I can't believe I even bought APC lights!!!) that I really do like against the Dark Silver.

I would never ask for you to break the Karma rules. I would still be bound to offering something to someone else for free. This way a charity benefits, someone getting the lights benefit, and another person will benefit from a give-away of my own. All around good Karma with extra good ju-ju added.

I like this MINI Karma give-away idea, what a great way to help out someone and make friends who have an interest in MINIs!.

I just recently got these same lights off eBay. They were about $45 shipped. I was worried that they would be cheap quality, but they are actually pretty nice! Mine are in chrome. I will post some pics when I can so you can see what they look like installed.

I like that, we can call it the "MINI Pay-it-Forward Karma Give-Away" for this kind of thing.

If anyone does "pay-it-forward" I'll definitely do the same for someone else. I think good Karma comes naturally in the MINI community anyway.

They look pretty tight to me, i'd love to take them off your hands =) plus its always good karma to give things away to anyone
and my taillights are pretty shot, theres like bad cloudyness in them from a water vapor breach =( oh and u shouldnt have to pay any shipping if ur giving them away so if i win i'm more than willing to pay the full shipping charges
