As the title said, can I swap the factory clear tailights from my 02 Cooper with my 03 Cooper S stock lights? (on its way)

 

yes, they are swappable

 

MY 02 to MY 04 tail lights are all swappable, however MY 05 and 06 tail lights are not swappable with MY 04 and earlier tail lights...

 

you can put any year lights on any car, theres is a harness from the factory that allows the use of 05 lights on pre 04 cars.

if you put clear lights from an 02-04 on an 05-06 car, the "fog" turns into a reverse light.

 

I couldn't find any how-to's, don't know why, but it looks pretty simple. My only question is will the wiring be the same for both cars? I've heard yes and I've heard no (that there was different wiring for the clear lights). I am hoping that it will be a simple unplug, removal, replace, and plug in.
