Cooper S - delivered today

So after being part of the NAM community for about 2 months, searching, researching and tracking down the right vehicle I finally pulled the trigger last Saturday. I bought a 2006 Astro Black Cooper S via EBAY from TX. Thanks to all of your feedback and threads, I was able to track down the perfect ride for my needs.

She delivered today (car was perfect as listed) and so far I've put on about 150 miles. . . . all smiles. Driving this car reminds me of how much I enjoy driving and owning a nice ride thats more than just something that gets me from point a to point b. It has great pickup, handles well, moves well even in 6th gear on the frwy and has reasonable good gas milage (much better than my 02Pathfinder that was giving me 13MPG)

I'm waiting for the sun to set and weather to cool off, then she needs a bath (1500 miles of transport creates a pretty thick layer of dust . . .very visible on black)

Aside from the euro parcel shelf thats already on order, I'm thinking about a DICE ipod intergration unit, 15% pulley, Jan tune, injectors, rear sway bars, clear bra, short shift kit (not in the order listed). . . . .for starters.

Ha ha ha . . . I love this car. I named her "Megan"

Hi Yakswak. Shipping for the mini ran $350.00 (Dallas to So Cal) - practically my front door. Let me know if you want the info on the shipping co and I'll send you a pm.

Love this car!!!

Ordered a Euro parcel shelf (due in on Monday) and I ordered a stubby antenna last night. I'm also planning on blacking out the beltline chrome.

02doooce.

Sounds like you made a smart buy.

Since you are located in South Bay, you might consider joining SCMM. Even though I am not very active in the club, I have been a member for a couple of years now, and I've met several other members and done a couple of events. You will get many opportunities to motor with other MINI and Mini enthusiasts, and meet a lot of really fun folks (at least, that has been my experience so far). South Bay is very close to a major "hub" of SCMM in Long Beach. Check out their web site.

Motor on!!
