HAH! You can get a factory exhaust for FREE if you search around (I've got one sitting in my side yard you can have). Who's going to pay $100 unless they're real local and can't find a free one without paying for freight shipping.

There is a little button on the lower left hand corner of your post that allows you to edit or delete it. Thanks for posting the info though - I for one appreciate dealers at least offering these type of things for sale.

I think the responses here could have been much better....a few nice polite responses explaining to him that there is several free exhaust systems etc that are readily available for people etc would have been much better. Instead we shoved off a dealership that maybe would have one day become an advertiser on MCO...now I'm sure he thinks twice about some of the crew here. Instead of slamming, politely explain and he might have said "Oh I didn't realize that - I'll lower the price to 25 bucks" which for someone in chicago would have been good if they couldn't find a free system locally as it would have been cheaper then shipping.
Some people also don't understand the caps thing...for alot of people they are posting from a computer which also serves as a terminal to their inventory system, which a fair amount of the inventory, ordering etc systems require everything to be in all caps....being he was from a dealership and most likely in parts, I'm guessing this is the case. Again a little politeness would have gone a long way and he may have warmed up to us at MCO and been a great resource for us as well as potential advertising here which puts money in Mark's pocket to help keep this great site alive.

I agree with Casey.I am the service manager at a Mercedes-Benz dealership.We use the ADP system and all we use is caps.I sometimes have to retype what I am sending when I realize I am using caps.I will send him an email to apologize.

We all get short sometimes - thats why others are here to keep us in check. I don't think your post was too out of line. I just think, as an entire group, we should remember that there are new people joining this board everyday that may or may not be aware of proper posting procedures. I know I forget that sometimes as well.
BTW if you want to see how bad a board can be check out the E60 board at Roadfly over the last 3-4 months. I for one hope that we never see that sort of activity at MCO.

I think what you are trying to do is a good thing, and hope that this experience doesn't scare you off.
Take-off parts at a reduced price is a good deal all the way around.
