hartford dealer, not customer friendly!
they expect the customer to cater their schedule for delivery. HELLO!!! you are selling the car to me! response is SSSSSLOOOW! never buy a car from them again. guess they figure they have you by the b@!!$, so they can say anything they want. very bad foresight. must ask the right question to ge teh information. rather than them explaining fully what is going on, what has to happen when, and by when. it is a very disappointing experience for a first time buyer.

OK, here comes my naive moment of optimism ......

Hopefully, as we all spread the word, like you did, we can help to weed out the "bad guys", and help the honest sincere dealers be more successful.

Aaaaaaaahhhhh, that felt better !

I'd have to add Niello MINI in Sacremento. Biggest bunch of snobby ***** I've ever come by. Rude for the sake of being rude.

Joshua - sorry to hear about your experience. I had a great experience with New Country. Maybe ask to speak to the manager.
Good Luck.

Sorry to hear about your problems at the Hartford Dealer. I had a poor experience with this dealer too. They advertised via the internet. I sent them an e-mail an initially received an e-mail from someone who advised me that a sales advisor would contact me. Three weeks later and I didn't receive an e-mail nor a phone call. I finally e-mailed them and asked how long it usually takes to be contacted. Guess what!!?? I received an e-mail the next day, but with no apology for not cotnacing me sooner. This is a prime example of the "snooze and you lose" theory as I found my silk green mini at a local dealer!!!

Anybody in the Southwest area looking should check out MINI of N. Scottsdale in AZ. They are a bit slow with getting back to you most of the time, but are pretty nice and very honest. They are a bit overwhelmed (only two sales people and no manger for a few more days) but they will eventually get back to you.
They started off a bit snobby, but have really relaxed and made adjustments.

Happy Motoring,

Jason

Liq. Yellow/Lapis S, loaded except for Nav and heated seats (can't really use them much in AZ )
