I wish I had time to do some driving but.... then life rears its ugly head and I remember that I have to pick my daughter at dance... who doesn't know the car is here... and then help my nephew organize his stuff for the return trip to Sao Paulo tonight.
Here's my story... and I'm sticking to it....
Scottdale Mini was wonderful but they couldn't get a MSC for months. I would have been 80-somthing on their list.
Jerry Halloran at MiniHamptons said he could order me a June build and I'd have it by the end of July. He treated me fairly and never even collected a deposit from me.
There was a small delay getting the paperwork squared away due to the July 4th holiday but other than that, it was smooth. I used Autolog for shipping and they never gave me a specific date for delivery opting for a "it's scheduled for delivery by July 30th". I kind of figured out their game and just knew it would be here before then.
I was worried about any damage from shipping and based on advice from here, I lowered my deductible to $100. There was no damage and after I make sure of that, I'll raise it back up.
I have no impressions of it other than I'm pretty doggone happy. It seems to be pretty well built and other than programming the radio, I've had no time to get to know it yet. That'll come with time of course.
WOOHOO!!!!!
TMGRobyn... Gotcha... will make that change!!

That MINI s Cooper sounds great. You know, the MSC
.
Sorry about making fun of your mistake, but through that I really can tell how excited you are. I'd goof up when I'm exited too. Really, though enjoy your MCS

OK... let work at 3 PM and went to MVD ... or is that VMD...DMV? Oh well, it's done. Went home and told the nephew to go get the newspaper for me. The MCS was parked on the other side of the street from the house. He never even saw it since he was concentrating on the newspaper. I think the kid's scared of me.
We drove to the top of South Mountain and here's a picture!
